Critical Reflection

My film, Echoes of Awakening, represents the growing issue of driving under the influence. It does this specifically through the protagonist Jack, who is a young adult. Throughout the film, Jack experiences his reality distorting until he wakes up in a hospital and realizes that he wasn’t in his true reality at all. After waking up, he experiences a series of flashbacks that reveal how he got into the hospital. In these the film reveals that while driving one night, Jack was intoxicated. This is illustrated in my film through numerous bottles of half drunken alcohol bottles, one which he was holding right before starting the car. Because of Jack’s choices to drive while intoxicated, he ends up in a crash that nearly kills him and puts him in a coma. Echoes of Awakening is not only made to challenge the viewers mind as they piece together the myste

Hello and welcome back to my blog! To promote my film, I was responsible for creating an account on X. The account I created seemed to be doing well. It had 10 followers and some decent engagement for a newer account. I had one post, that being the trailer for my film. However, one day when I tried to log into the account, I noticed it was suspended! The trailer that I posted had fake blood at the end. Unfortunately the app flagged the post and removed my account for showing violence.  I was upset about the account being taken down, but I knew I needed to make a new one. To make sure they were place nicely, I decided to look on YouTube for some inspiration.  While searching, I found the perfect video. My first step was opening up the app and loading in the edited videos. When I opened the project, I went into the text option and typed in my first title. I wasn’t sure about which font to use, so I made sure to cycle through a few. Ultimately, I picked a final three: Elegant, Sherif, and Poppins. It was difficult to chose one, so I decided to go my mom for some help. She enjoyed all of the options, and just like me couldn’t choose one. My next option was my sister. Fortunately, she was able to help me narrow my options down. She liked Sherif the best, so I decided to use that for my titles. While going through and placing the titles, I decided white would be the best co
